About Mastig — Who We Are
More than 20 years of passion for pets.
Mastig is a premium natural pet treat brand born from decades of hands-on expertise in animal nutrition manufacturing. We are part of Mast Pet Ind. e Com. de Produtos para Animais Ltda., founded in 2010 in Londrina, Paraná, Brazil — by Dalton Ferreira and Ronaldo Toffolo, two professionals who have dedicated their careers to crafting treats that pets love and owners trust.
Our journey began in 2001, long before Mastig existed as a brand. Dalton and Ronaldo spent years running the pet treat manufacturing operations of one of Brazil's largest meat processing companies — learning every detail of raw material selection, food safety, dehydration technology, and product development. In 2010, they took that knowledge and built something of their own.
What We Make
Mastig specializes in all-natural, single-ingredient dehydrated pet treats for dogs and cats. Every product starts with one thing: high-quality animal protein sourced from free-range Brazilian cattle, pork, and poultry — raised on open pastures and processed in human-grade slaughterhouses that meet strict European Union certification standards.
No preservatives. No artificial flavors. No fillers. Just pure, natural goodness — exactly as nature intended.
Our product range includes natural bovine treats, collagen chews, natural porcine treats, dental chews, and functional treats — all crafted to deliver real benefits: cleaner teeth, reduced stress, mental stimulation, and the simple joy of a great chew.
How We Make It
Our 2,400 m² facility in Londrina operates under the strictest food safety standards in the industry. We follow HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) protocols certified by GCS, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at every stage of production — from the moment raw materials arrive in our cold storage chambers to the final seal on every package.
Our production capacity includes 8 industrial dehydration ovens, 600 m³ of refrigerated and frozen storage, and the ability to produce up to 120 tonnes of natural dehydrated treats per year. Our packaging lines handle up to 6 million units annually, with stand-up pouches and high-quality printing that we treat as a strategic asset — because we believe great packaging reflects the quality inside.
We are officially registered with Brazil's Ministry of Agriculture (MAPA) under the Animal Feed seal, and we are currently in the process of obtaining ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification.
Where We Ship
Mastig is trusted by pet owners, specialty retailers, and distributors across the globe. We are approved to export to the United States, Canada, Australia, Mexico, all of Latin America, Europe, Singapore, and beyond.
We currently serve markets in the USA, Australia, Chile, Uruguay, Bolivia, Singapore, Canada, and Europe — through three commercial models: bulk supply for international distributors, private label production for retail brands, and our own Mastig brand for direct-to-consumer and specialty retail channels.
